Prelude
The main event at Fearrington House begins at 6:00 pm on Saturday, see below for details. We'll host a gathering at the Meadowmont Pool/Clubhouse in Chapel Hill from 12:00-3:00 on Saturday for locals or out-of-towners interested in swimming, getting cool, or saying hello early. We'll have day-passes for the pool that are good all day Saturday, when you RSVP indicate how many you'd like. You're welcome to come during any/all/none of the 12:00-3:00 time, though we'll need a head count for planning. The pool party will include pizza, ice cream, and drinks (water, juice, soft-drinks, wine, beer.)
For those coming in Friday from out-of-town we'll host a get-together at our house on Friday evening. Details to follow.
Celebration
At Fearrington the main event/celebration/party starts at 6:00, dinner follows, then dancing.
What to wear? Laura has purchased an enchanting, long dress. The party isn't formal, but it is dressy. Dress comfortably and elegantly, with élan and panache. Owen is wearing a (new) sportcoat and is certain that he can be elegant without a tie.
